I’l need to test the idea real soon as I am using your posters to construct the island on wich my students will lay there houses.

A few expamples: - $3M to reduce the speed limit to40 km/hr...no $$ for enforcement, just $$ to change the signs - $15M in legal fees that were outsourced, while the City employs more than 70 lawyers - Council in Ahuntsic-Cartierville voted to spend $18M to rent space to house their Borough offices for 15 years, while the City owns buildings with more square footage that could have been converted for less than 1/3 that price. - $25M to finance "Montréal 2025" - an office that plans for Montreal's future...I don't even know what to say about this one? - $350M for water meters......that we won't even own - $750M for a tramway that will run parallel to the Green and Orange lines - and the BILLIONS spent on road repair and re-repair - all of which can't seem to last more than 5 years! So the answer is not in taxation, rather, the City must ensure 2 things; (1) tighter control over spending, (2) better control of the results of that spending (if we are going to repair a pipe or a segment of road or sidewalk...it better remain in decent shape for at least a decade!)
